Choices

How often do you wish you could be in two places at the same time?
Last weekend, we were supposed to be in Washington for an Crafts Fair and in New York City for the Annual Gathering of Holocaust Remembrance. We had a tradition of attending both; however, this year both fell on the same weekend.
We stayed in New York and attended the Annual Gathering. We lit a candle with Mom.
When faced with being in two places at the same time, we have to make a choice. Sometimes, we have  a lingering question of whether we made the right choice.
This past weekend, we made the right choice — without a doubt.

We have a saying in our house....
When faced with a choice, both being important- its best to choose the one that you won’t regret doing or not doing.

If only we could clone ourselves. Often have several things on one day or evening and have to live with my choice ----unfortunately there is often regret that I could not attend one, while still realizing that I needed to be where I was. Next week I had several choices I had to make---while pleased to be doing what I will be doing, saddened that will miss the other.
