Personal Pocket Journal

There were nine of us around the conference table. As the meeting came to a close, we decided to schedule another meeting.
Six smartphones appeared. Two laptops were opened. And my Personal Pocket Journal came out of my pocket.
Yes, I have my iPhone and there’s a calendar application that links to my office calendar and our family “shared” calendar.
But I have never been able to give up my Personal Pocket Journal.
Yes, there’s duplication. It also seems like a good check and balance system—at least for me.
There’s the comfort of flipping the pages and making those old-fashioned little notes to myself. And I don't have to worry about the Cloud. At least ten years' of journals fit nicely in my desk drawer.

Journal away, my friend! I still carry a tiny notebook-strictly used for reminders and thoughts.

I haven't carried a paper notebook or calendar in years. Every so often I think about what would happen if the 'cloud' disappeared. It would be a shame to lose access to a calendar I rely on.

Me too and what about that little piece of paper you write all your notes on?

Always have a dated notebook going for thoughts, notes, etc. I have them for years back. The best we’re the ones where I would write down funny things the kids did and said. At 22 and 18 they loved looking back (15-20 years) at those. Lol.

I really enjoy robust use of my Apple calendar and its notes section.
