At some point the body needs to find peace and take a rest. The world is not out to get you.

I remember one of the sayings from Ranger School. "You don't have to be the first to finish. You just have to finish." Which reminds me of the old joke about an old bull and a young bull on a hill looking over a heard of cows..... But that is a joke for another day.

I am fortunate to have been virtually introduced to Bob Lefsetz by Fred. He is insightful and humorous. I am a daily blog reader thanks to Fred. My motto is Persistence, Persistence, Persistence. The first ship in its' class, the USS SAN ANTONIO that sailed to help Katrina victims and has steel from Ground Zero in its' hull has this motto: "Never Retreat, Never Surrender" My husband designed the aircraft elevators on this Ship and we went to San Antonio for the Commissioning of the Ship to the Navy. George Bush, Senior was presiding.I have a picture of the ship as it was manned. Too bad there doesn't seem to be a way to attach a photo here.
