I'm 8 of those IQ's, with musical as a laggard. I prefer to dance to music :) Strong EQ for this girl.

When I was dating Mara, her family said why do you want to marry a musician?. There came a time when someone in her family hired my band for a party. I put my best foot forward and did a great job. I’m gonna stray from the direct question a little your honor . The meaning of smart if you will . Vastly misunderstood, overrated , underrrated . Over used . When I lament to Derf that Jane Jacobs and I are quibbling again He always responds with “ she’s a very smart woman .” OK ! Agreed ! So ? “ I was high jumping with Michael Crichton when we were kids together . How’d you do on your SAT’s Mike ? “ 800 on the math and 800 on the verbal . “ He said matter of factlly . Jane and Michael are smart but what is smart ? Does it come with common sense ? Introspection ? Relatability ? That sure would be nice . How about a smart alec ? That’s a contradiction in itself . So yeah ...... I took 18 credits my freshman year at Rutgers . Each semester . Not so smart . I wanted to be a veterinarian . The “smart “ kids got A’s in Major British Writers and Art History as well as French , Biology and Organic Chemistry . But could they get out of their own way ? Nope ! My IQ hasnt developed fully YET ! I’ll be 75 this summer and everything is just starting to come together now . The ying and the yang if you will . Isn’t that the way it’s supposed to be ? The “ smart” kids like Jane and Michael knew that early on . From the get go . Me ? Not so much . I spent my idle time smelling the bubble gum on my baseball cards . Right Derf ?
