Thirst For Information
When I was young, except for sports stories and related trivia, I was pretty empty headed. And maybe that was a good thing, as there may now be less useless information clogging my cranial band width.
Passing on how I got from there and then to here and now (maybe a story for another time), it is indisputable that I presently suffer from an unquenchable thirst for facts, knowledge, gossip and trivia.
I can’t get enough of it!
Sometimes this gets me in trouble, as I’m constantly texting, emailing, commenting and writing on my phone.
To say the least it keeps me busy and my mind engaged. It truly nurtures me.

Just as there are seven colors in the rainbow and seven tones in a musical scale, each with a different vibratory rate, there are seven planes of existence on the spectrum of creation. The slowest speed of vibration occurs on the physical plane; the highest, on the buddhaic plane. From the buddhaic plane, energy returns to its source, the Tao.
Knowledge is the ultimate power and a thirst for such breeds personal strength . Becoming wise is a combination of time and knowledge . With age comes a certain wisdom inherently . Being smart is another concept in itself . Being wise is absorbing as much as you can in the short lifetime we are given . For me it is the power of the written word . I read voraciously. Actual books . Bound wonderfully with exotic paper and print . The smell of an old volume . Recently Arrowsmith by Sinclair Lewis . As the late autumn of the circle of life envelopes me I find that my thirst for all things grows exponentially. The how to’s the why not’s and the wisdom to pass on to my grandkids and still even to my children and The Trinity . My new found sounding board for ALL things pertinent past present and future . I then can say “ Carry on men ! “ The XO has the con !
