Happy New Year!

Still?

It is January 8 and I am still wishing people a Happy New Year. Are you?

At what point does it no longer feel right to be extending that greeting? Is January 15 a good time to stop? Halfway through the first month of the year. I'm not really sure.

Well, happy new year! This could be the last time I am going to say that until 2020 . . .

I think a late fee should be imposed 1/15

I was reading this as I was answering the phone. I thought about it as I was hanging up. There was an awkward silence until I wished the person a happy new year.

I continue to do it with everyone I haven't yet had the opportunity to wish a Happy New Year and will do so probably through the end of the month.

Every day is the beginning of a new year, so never stop. Although, maybe not everybody wants to be happy...
