Blogs Unwritten

As I ponder this last blog for 2018, I think about the blogs that were never written. There were many.

Among the bloggers – with appropriate guidance – we stay away from blogging about politics. Oftentimes what strikes me as worthy of a blog is set aside due to our self-imposed restriction. I don't dare refer to it as censorship because it is not, it is self-imposed decorum.

I am sure that the events of the upcoming year will provide fodder for many blogs, some to be written and some to be put aside. I take solace in recognizing that the blogs not written are nevertheless known.

And my hope for 2019 is that we will find a way for some of those blogs to be written.

Thank you Cayce!!!
Self censorship isn’t a bad thing at the right time.

First off, the blogs do cover a very wide range of topics and provide more opportunities for interactive discourse (except on Fridays where ample of such -- some use another phrase -- occurs).
Indeed, other forums exist for things we deem inappropriate in this forum. It ranges from op-eds to in my case, posting a commentary to a certain page on my website.
