Would You?

Apparently, here is what happened facilitated by a cell phone and You Tube.

It was a long train ride, very long. A man sitting mostly by himself was engrossed in a cell phone call. We have all been there. One of those calls that the whole train can hear, word for word, intonation for intonation. This call was personal in nature, very personal, and anyone nearby quickly learned that this man was actively engaged in a relationship with a woman that was not his wife.

At some point during the trip, one of the passengers became so frustrated and offended by the entire scenario, that she posted the man and his call on You Tube. That’s right, his face and words clearly displayed and heard on the web for the world – and his wife to see and hear.

What do you think? Right or wrong? Would you have posted that video?

Don't know if I would go that far, but if he wasn't worried about it, why should anyone else be. What are the odds of anyone ever seeing it.

Rather a drastic solution, I might say. She could have asked the conductor to have the man turn the call off, or she could have moved to another car. That's what noise canceling headphones are for.

The fact that the guy was this indiscreet tells me he's not all that concerned about getting caught. I don't think I would go so far as to post it on you tube though.

p.s. Rona, your comment is too funny.

Rona, networking at all times.
As a LI based business, I don't travel everyday into the city, therefore much like everything new to me, I am always amazed. I love people watching. I probably would not enjoy listening to that particular conversation....for me----I just move. I know that's easier said than done--- I have a very strong sense that if I open my (Brooklyn) mouth to the wrong person, I'll probably regret it---and then because I have no sense of direction, I would be lost in the NYC subway system,,lol
Also, is there really any expectation of privacy on a train?!? There is much to be said for manners and couth.
Fred, you crack me up!!

There's something to be said for discretion; and my remarks focus on the caller, not the "videographer". There may be legal issues in posting to YouTube since the channel went commercial.
