Morning Pick Me Up

This blog is about coffee. And, perhaps, a bit about tea. Although, for me that’s a nighttime beverage. In this blog, I’m wondering how people get their early morning beverage.

I’m a Keurig user. With a simple press of a button, I get my morning coffee within moments. If I have to be in court or at an early Gotham meeting, I brew it into a disposable coffee cup. If I’m going to the office it goes into my reusable hot cup.

I generally buy my k-cups at Costco. I really like Starbucks Pike Peak. Although, a friend had me try Costco’s brand, Kirkland, k-cups which were surprisingly good. Next time at Costco, I plan on giving Kirkland a try.

On the weekends, when I have time, I’ll take a few extra minutes and French press my coffee. I love finding new types of coffee while travelling and brewing it at home. Currently, I’m using a blend we tasted in Mexico.

How do you get your early morning cup of hot (or cold)?

Keurig as well. We recently discovered San Francisco Bay Company, they have biodegradable pods for the Keurig as well as organic coffees. We really like the richness of their French Roast, Morning Blend and several others. Never bitter and the pricing is quite good.
