Every Moment

There’s a Japanese saying that translates to “one moment, one chance.”

The positive perspective suggests taking every moment as a new opportunity.

However, the saying also suggests that a missed opportunity will never present itself again.

FOMO - the “fear of missing out”

The other evening we had our third meeting of the Long Island Dinner Group. Due to space limitations, we have had to close out every meeting as we surpassed full capacity.

As we sat around the full table, I considered the Japanese saying and how its truth was evident among every participant.

And and when the next meeting closes out....FOMO.

Every GOTHAM group I have ever attended yields dividends whether new friends, connecting with old friends, learning new information, discovering resources, both business and/or social referrals that lead to business. GOTHAM is like a pond jumping with fish. You simply have to show up at the pond to catch any.

I am delighted the group is going well. Unfortunately the dates have conflicted with other meetings, however I will be certain to RSVP immediately the next date noticed that doesn't present a conflict. I truly enjoyed the one meeting I was able to attend thus far.

Wonderful event with a different feel than breakfast. Had the opportunity to meet a lot of great new people.
