The Next Big Binge

I admit that periodically, I enjoy a good binge watch. My first ever binge was Mad Men. I couldn’t get enough. I almost missed my train stop more than once, absorbed in a particular story line as the E train pulled into the Fifth Avenue station.

Later, I ran through Orange is the New Black at an even quicker pace.

My current binge though is The Crown. Apparently, I knew very little about the British monarchy. I find myself following every episode with an in depth google search to fact check the plot line and take a deeper dive into whatever was that day’s subject.

Sadly, though, I am only a few episodes from the end and I know I will find myself longing for my next good binge.

Any suggestions?

Cayce Crown

Ozark with Laura Linney and Jason Bateman. Fabulous.
There is also the classic Downton Abbey or Call the Midwife, if you missed it.
River with Stellan Skarsgaard is amazing. Godless is great.
A lot of great TV these days.
Rona Gura

The Handmaid's Tale and The Amazing Mrs. Maisel. Both were amazing
Tom Gallin

I have been watching Game of Thrones. It is not for everyone, but the plot twists are very unexpected.

I agree with Caycee! There are a lot of great shows on television, many are now in their second season; like This is Us. The classic ones like Downton Abbey and The Crown are quintessential English, but Homeland and Game of Thrones riveting!

Mrs. Maisel, Call the Midwife and Victoria on PBS. All are great. I also loved Bloodline. I never saw Six Feet Under while it was on, so we're currently watching that one from the beginning.
