Spread the love
While tooling around the intenet for something positive, I ran across this list from Joshua Becker. In his blog, he writes "...the quickest way to find happiness is to help someone find theirs." I couldn't agree more.
1. Handwrite a letter.
2. FaceTime/Skype an old friend.
3. Buy coffee for a stranger.
4. Smile and joke with your next cashier.
5. Leave a nice tip.
6. Buy movie tickets for a family in your neighborhood.
7. Ask your religious friend about the story behind the season.
8. Invite someone over for dinner.
9. Send a gift of food/coffee.
10. Shovel your neighbor’s driveway.
11. Bring in a warm breakfast for your office.
12. Go ahead, sing along.
We probably can’t change the entire world with these simple ideas. But we can still intentionally seek to add life and cheer to the people around us. And as a result, make this season a little better.

Always prefer that.
Funny that to put perhaps the best smile on your (own) face “requires” an unselfish act.
