Annual Holiday Party

Categories
Holidays

Tuesday night was our annual Holiday Party, at the Friars Club, and it was attended by about 100 people despite the rain (how come it always rains when we have our party?).

Highlights were the announcement of the 2 well deserving 2017 Networkers of the Year, Susan Zinder and Carly Meyer (pictured above) who continued our winning red heads tradition.

Jason Greenberg was the recipient of our Red Bandanna Award for exhibiting selfless sacrifice in the memory of Welles Remy Crowther who died a hero on 9/11.  Thank you father Jefferson for providing the trophy for our highest award.

The recipients of the Gotham Foundation Season of Giving $5000 grants were: Legal Outreach, Savvy Ladies, ACDS and the Sant Bani School.

Special thanks to our sponsors who made the party possible:
Hub  international (Mike Zeldes),
All-Star Reporters (Jeff Lewis and Marc Schafler),
Skody Scott and Company (William Skody),
Grassi and Company (Steven Goldstein),
Two Sons Environmental (Paul Napolitano)
Minuteman Pres Bellerose (Scott Levine and Fred Morante)
SC Horn Associates (Steven Horn)
Ace  payroll services Inc. (Alan Klein and Corey Milman) plus our annual global sponsors who contribute to make all Gotham events possible:  Raj Goel,  Brain Link and John Gallin and Sons, Tom Gallin.

Special thanks also go to Entertainment Chair Norman Spizz, Corey Bearak and Executive Director Debbie Lindner for all the arrangements.

We started the year celebrating our 20th Anniversary and we ended a very good year on this high note.  Thank you all and seasons greetings!

It was great getting to see old friends and new.
Fred, it may always rain at the night of the holiday party - but, the Golf Outing is always beautiful.

They always try to "rain on our parade." But once again "they" failed. Great evening. Thanks to all who made itn happen.

There is something deeply gratifying about being in a community of friends and acquaintances who care to improve the lot of others by spreading angel dust...whether by inviting one to our family table or contributing to our fellow man. Hats off to Fred and to all who share the spirit and walk the talk.
Rona Gura

Bill Solz relayed to me all that Jason has done. Very well deserved recipient.
