3 Questions

I don't where these originated, I heard them from Deepak Chopra.

We could change the world with these questions. Especially Facebook.

1. Is it true?

2. Is it kind?

3. Is it necessary?

Whenever?

My darling wife, Sheilagh, said: "Then there will be no cat videos for you."

Oh no, I said cat videos are necessary. I find them so soothing. You may prefer dog or baby videos.

Just asking myself these questions has enabled me to stop myself from making comments on things and brought me much inner peace. I don't need to "correct," or "enlighten" or "straighten out" ANYONE.

I think kindness is the most important thing today. Even towards 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Insults never healed or helped anything. No matter how clever.

I'm workin on it.

Kindness is loving people more than they deserve. - Joseph Joubert

Wonderful blog, Cayce. My mother taught me to always be kind. She said she learned that from her mother, too.

Wayne Dyer says - it is better to be kind than right. I try to remember that.

yes, it is the most important, my parents seemed to think winning an argument with sarcasm and cleverness was best. they didn't know better. Your mom and grandmom had it right.

Great blog Cayce!

I take a strategic approach. It can include kindness. After all recall this comment from former Rep Pat. Schroder in a NY Times interview. She said her dad advised, Smile at your enemies; it kills them.
