Today, January 18, marks the 24th anniversary of ALL 50 states celebrating Martin Luther King Day.

He was born Michael King on January 15, 1929. He would have been 88 last Sunday.

He is best known for his role in the advancement of civil rights using nonviolent civil disobedience based on his Christian beliefs.

MLK and John Lewis

This week there is a lot of opportunity for civil disobedience.

As John Lewis (pictured above) says, "Get in trouble. Good trouble, necessary trouble."

I hope you all are very busy Friday and Saturday with some trouble.

Alas, the baby turns 1 on Saturday. So no marches for my wife. Becoming successful, upholding our values, and raising a baby aware is this year's protest.

That sounds like a terrific plan. Lets all work toward giving your baby the best world ever.

Look forward to being in DC on Saturday with my pink hat.

A little bit of civil disobedience tastefully targeted and administered goes a long way
sing this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xk8rHqaLOVQ
and change the words of the FLOTUS's hometown to "D.C."
and then this:

listen to first song and then skip ahead to 10:46 of the clip (I was in audience in the first part of the clip and part of the Legal team at the gate for the rally earlier that day shown in the latter part of the clip)
