"Your Voice Mail is Full"

Categories
Lifestyle

I received the usual message on my cell phone yesterday, “your voicemail is 90% full.”  As usual, I had not listened to a single message.

Most often, when I get a missed call on my cell phone, I just  tend to call the person back. I hardly, if ever, take the time to listen to their message.

So, if you call me on my cell phone and I don’t answer, don’t bother to leave a message. I probably won’t listen to it. Would you?

I prefer message. My presumption is no message (or text or email), perhaps not as important (unless its someone who returned my call). I also try to direct calls to my office so when cell calls when I am there I make a point off office-line call back. Some people call folks on cell lines expecting to avoid the receptionist or EA or other phone-line interference.

It all depends upon who's calling. In general I prefer a message telling me what the call is about. So I do listen.

I'm a listener, want to be fully informed when I return the call.

I listen, sometimes it is not possible to actually take a call at that moment but I can text or email a response. Although generally I do listen to all my cellphone voice mails on a timely basis, it is the office voice mails I tend to not get to on a timely basis--cannot explain.
