Got any old videos?

You might want to crack open that dusty box of vidoes and see if you have any that you forgot to bring back to the store. A North Carolina man was arrested this week on charges he failed to return a VHS tape to a video store 14 years ago. 14 years! It wasn't even a really good movie..."Freddy Got Fingered."

The culprit was driving his daughter to school when he was pulled over by police for a broken brake light, according to a video posted on YouTube. The officers ran his driver's license and told him he had an outstanding arrest warrant for not returning a movie to a video store in North Carolina. And, by the way, the video store isn't even open anymore.

So know I'm looking around my video collection to see if I've got any old videos that I didn't return. Maybe you should too...just in case.

When I read the blog title I thought it might involve old videos and the need to transfer to another format complicated by Apple Macs and MacBooks no longer have CD/DVD drives.
Anyway according to google search:
"Gord Brody (Tom Green) is a struggling cartoonist trying to pitch an animated show to Hollywood executives. When he fails, he returns to his hometown with no choice but to live with his parents and younger brother, Freddy (Eddie Kaye Thomas). His father (Rip Torn) doesn't approve of Gord's career path, and pressures him to gain independence. As father and son exchange barbs, Gord comes up with a lie that changes everything: He claims his dad is molesting Freddy, leading to drastic consequences."

Did he get arrested? Or a fine?

He actually was arrested, had to appear in court and then the warrant was abated because the store is no longer in business

Last year I returned a library book to the NYC library on the Spanish Armada. My son had taken it out when he was in high school for a report. That was about nine years ago.

Hah! I am spring cleaning and just came across the DVD of the movie, Enough said. I won't watch it. After Gandolfini's death....I just don't want to...luckily, it was purchased so I tossed it. I did think to give it away--and knew it would spend a few more years in the same place.
My new favorite thing is throwing things away.

This poor guy---who knew??
