Im back...kind of

I haven't exercised for almost a year and just started it again last Tuesday with my trainer a 22 year old nice guy. Since I'm not allowed to work as hard as I used to the begining sessions have been using my body weight, which is more than enough.

What I used to think was too easy is now hard work. And to boot the gym has lovely large mirrors where I can see my mishapen body. Not to good for the self esteem but definitely a motivation to get back into some semblance of shape.

At the end of today's workout I said to him, "Is that all you've got?" He laughed and said "I haven't heard that in awhile." I thought yeah...about a year ago.

Good for you! Restarting an exercise program is more difficult than some people think. Applause to you for getting back in the game.

Starting is the first step, keeping it going is harder….best of luck with it!!!

Muscles have memory...they'll come back soon! Kudos! You set a good example. I need to follow your lead...

It got to feel real good to be at this point; real progress; commendable; I can only imagine the column next year at this time!

Yay Mitch. Remember...Life is a journey of inches. You can't grow a tree overnight. And
with respect to "the human plant", Fred is so right. Take it slow. And don't forget magnesium citrate or taurate. No kidding. To avoid cramps and so much more.

I stopped lifting weights. They were too heavy.
