Nice people

Categories
Lifestyle

It might sound innocent or simplistic, but I really like nice people.  I know them when I experience them and, sadly, they are kinda rare to be found.

Genuinely nice people stoke me up and make me feel good and I want to share the feeling and do everything for them and, hopefully, them for me.

It's like old time panning for gold. When one turns up you should relish and treasure him/her!

It's all about basic Humanity.

Hey, that's me! Thanks for the kind words :) Very flattered!

When I was younger, I thought that "nice" was a weasel-word descriptor; not quite a pejorative, but certainly not a compliment; likely more a neutral assessment: "Oh, he's nice." A word with little meaning. But over the years, I to have come to value genuine niceness in people, and have found that it's a very important yet all too rare character trait. So, bring on the nice folks! And Sarah's a great "poster child" for "nice."

Nice is nice, I prefer kind, seems more proactive. I am a long way off.

You are right Fred . Truly nice people are few and far between. Depends on your definition. I'm sceptic. I'm a purist and suspicious. I'm probably not a nice person. Nice people don't seem to carry negative traits. Very rare. In fact I can't say that I know many "nice people
!"my bad I guess.....I have high standards. Joanne is a nice person and so is Fred. I go back to the quote...."It's better to give than receive . " That's where being a nice person begins !!

I am not as nice as Joanne. In fact, without her I'm not so nice, but she inspires and encourages me to try to be nice.

Very nice commentary here but also interesting. Since I've worked for Fred for a long time, I might agree with his comment, but there is another factor. Charcoal, their dog, has brought another dimension to Joanne and Fred's lives, and Fred, in particular, has become nicer yet. Thank you, Charcoal, that was very nice of you!
