Those Commercials

I can’t comment on the Super Bowl. Really, I can’t. I don’t know enough about the game. But let’s talk about those commercials. There were a few this year that I thought were particularly creative.

  • · The Doritos Ad – Just silly and funny. That baby sure did like those Doritos.

  • · PuppyMonkeyBaby – I didn’t get it. But I laughed. So, I suppose the advertisers were successful. Except that I had to look up the product the PuppyMonkeyBaby was selling so then again, maybe not.

  • · Bud Light – I am not the biggest fan of Seth Rogen, but his spot with Amy Schumer was really funny.

  • · The Super Bowl Babies – I think this ad was my favorite. Not laugh out loud funny like some of the others, but the kind of ad that just made me smile.

What were your favorite ads?

I question Peyton Manning;s post game shout out for Budweiser

Only watched halftime. Bey and Bruno are magnificent. Concussion has turned me off football.

It's interesting that you bring up the Doritio's commercial. We heard the men laughing out loud downstairs. The women-who were drinking wine and coloring in adult coloring books upstairs-didn't find it as funny. Gender difference?

You should appreciate it; he owns two BW distributorships in Louisiana. Always calculating. Give him credit.

I was a BIG fan of the Doritos commercial. although I can see Rona's point - it might have been a guy thing.

On balance I was disappointed. Miss the Budweiser puppy!
(I did think the Doritos one was funny. Shame it's been politicized.) I liked the jeep ones too. . . .
Who won the game? (Jk jk . . .) ;)
