During a conversation at lunch at work last week, the subject of our weights came up. The men were very willing-and in fact did-to share their weights. The women, on the other hand, all refused to disclose their weight. And we were all shocked that the men so readily disclosed theirs.
When I offered to fill in for your regular Sunday Blogger I told him that I would adhere to the usual musical themed post.
In light of the response to my blog last week, I'm focussing on one of the 15.
You can't change people
You can guide, support, and offer advice, but real change only happens when someone is willing to put in the effort. No matter how much you want to help, if a person isn't ready to make changes, there's nothing you can do. (And we all know someone who fits this description)
Instead of trying to force someone into action, be there when they are ready to change and offer your support.

Summer has come and gone. Its always so fast. Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day and its over. We have one more important day to look forward to to hold onto the last days of summer. The Sept 9th Gotham golf outing. Its the best day of the year for our family. I hope to see everyone there!
When each of my children started college, I joined the school’s parent Facebook page. I always found the page to be full of useful information and mostly, a supportive community of parents trying to help their children have the best experience they could in school.
