I have recently noticed that I am using keys less and less. I recently leased a new GMC Terrain and, for the first time, I have a keyless car. It has me a bit unnerved because I am afraid that, one day, I will leave the key fob in the car and lock myself out. Or keep the keyfob in my pocketbook and forget to lock the car when I leave.
Two blogs I ago I covered supporting causes. I mentioned several upcoming events and one that we enjoyed last night. It was BINGO fundraiser, but of another kind:Radio BINGO. We enjoyed it; believed all who attended did.
All we can be is ourself. At home, business, networking, with friends, family, etc. It is when we are truly present and authentic can we connect with ourselves and the people in our lives.
As blogged last week, Saturday was my birthday and it was a very very nice day.   Thank you all for your happy birthday wishes through blog comments, emails, texts, cards, phone calls  and Facebook messages!
I just had the flu. I haven’t had the flu in years. Actually, the last time I had the flu was the year before I started taking a flu shot. Yes, I admit there were years back then when I guess I thought I was invincible. And then the flu smacked me in the forehead, and I haven’t made that decision again. Seriously, I remember that my partners pretty much tied me down to make me take the shot the following year.
We are living in an era of influencers. Apparently, Kim Kardashian gets paid an extraordinary amount of money for having her picture taken with a product. I have noticed that other celebrities will do the same on Instagram. They will post either a picture or a video using a certain product and, clearly, endorse the same. I guess it’s the social media version of a commercial.
