A colleague and I were recently talking about the “old days.” Back in the day, when we could leave the office at 5:00 on a Friday night and not be reached again until Monday morning when we returned to the office.
At the last Gotham “Happy Hour” over Zoom, I opted not to use one of my Gotham backgrounds (Of late, I generally used the Citi Field Scoreboard announcing “Gotham Networking”.). I used the trees in my yard background that reflect what folks saw last year when I participated in Zooms from my “outside office.” Indeed some at Happy Hour suggested I was in fact outside. Not yet. But soon I hope.
It would seem that bears now need to take care of their chapped lips.

The officials confirmed this fact saying, "There was no food/trash left inside, but there was lip gloss..."
Residing at the southern most point of the continental USA I am constantly confronted by the unaccustomed south land salutation of SIR.
I hear it all the time and I look around and discern that it is directed at me. When I question why SIR I am told it is an expression of respect (to an older man).
Well you can imagine how that sits with me!
Then out out of nowhere someone changes it up and throws BOSS at me.
It’s all very confusing. Just call me Fred (or Derf) :)
We approached the door to leave the store as a young man and woman were entering. He held the door for his friend as she entered and then motioned for us to come through the door as he held it open.
Metamorphosis has always been a theme of great literature, theater, film, and television. The most notable transformation of characters in movies include: Sherman Klump to Buddy Love in the “Nutty Professor”, Jack Napier to The Joker in “Batman” and Seth Brundle to a fly in “The Fly”.
I think it's my iPad. What’s yours?
I was counting devices the other day. Between personal and work technology, I was up to over ten including accessories.
My niece got married this past weekend. It was a beautiful weekend filled with love and family. It was also filled with numerous prepared toasts from the couple’s closest family and friends.
