At Intermission
I was walking up the aisle from my front row seat at intermission of “Shows for Days” at the Newhouse Theater at Lincoln Center;
“Ben, your shirt is open.” (Actually, I was wearing a T shirt under an open shirt.) I looked around and when I focused on Gothamite Richard Fromewick seated several rows up the aisle, I replied that I was thankful that I had a T shirt on at all.
I am glad that Rick hadn’t texted me during the first act (saying that he had spotted me) because earlier in the week, the show’s lead, Patti LuPone, had confiscated a cell phone from a patron who had been texting during the performance. (The phone was returned after the show.) Since I was in the front row of the small theater, it would have been a disaster.
It was nice seeing Rick and his wife, Arlene. It's always nice to see someone in the Gotham family especially at an activity that makes us all look like cultured New Yorkers.
And, Rick, thanks for not texting.

Unlike another I strive to not be inappropriate where circumstances so call.
It's nice to Ron into Tribe members where you are. Curt Arnel's wife Bobbi and daughter/associate Lauren (who recently won trial #1) found me at the June 30 Brian Wilson Concert and later Curt caught up; same show Odey found me because my decision to wear a certain tee.
