A Technology Blog

I am sure I have written this blog before. In fact, probably two years ago when my phone contract was last up for renewal.

It is time for an upgrade and I would genuinely appreciate your opinions.

I Phone 6 or 6S Plus? (I have the 5, it’s just too small) Galaxy 5? Note? Wait for the Galaxy 6?

OK, I am listening.

I enjoy my 5. When I upgrade I will go 6 or 6+. I've seen friends and colleagues with both. a bit larger screen is nice. My focus remains on my next Mac. Jonathan and I continue to discuss it (I totally depend on his judgement in tech; Queens College's Soc. dept. engaged him as its tekkie while he attended there and the one year after while he applied to grad school). I just find the integrated Mac "biosphere" useful -- including iMessaging (aka text messaging to the unknowing) from Mac -- even to non-iPhones, the seamless integration of my calendar, contacts, notes, music and more. Even the Apple TV.
As to phone size, much depend on whether one uses an iPad -- I still do not have one and getting one may come ahead of a new phone -- and, if so, how one uses it and will still use it -- or not, following purchase of the 6 or 6s or 6+. I may make a decision by the end or the month or soon after.

I love my 5c. Although my clients call it my Tinkertoy. When its time to switch, I will definitely go to the 6.

IPhone 6 - the keyboard is JUST enough larger than the 5 so that my fingers can type - (but I usually use the dictate feature) - make sure to get 64 gig or larger or you will not be able to upgrade operating system!

iPhone 6. I didn't get the 6+ because I was warned holding it while on the phone for long periods of time can become uncomfortable. Since I don't always use a headset and like something that will fit in a pocket, I opted for the 6.
