The Best Shows this year (aka 2025)
As we approach the close of 2026, with no plans to attend any more concerts, I already posted on the commentary page of my website my traditional ranking of my top ten concerts. Unlike last year when I opted to share a chronological listing because I found it difficult to rank that year’s show, I return to reviewing the great 2025 shows in one through ten order.
I related in my commentary, “As with last year, choosing what made the cut and ranking a top ten was not in any way easy. Even the shows that did not make the cut were special.”
As I enjoy doing, many of the concerts got reviewed in this space.
The shows included John Fogerty’s 80th Birthday at the Beacon, The Eagles at the Sphere, The Who at Jones Beach, Peter Frampton at the Capitol, The (Allman) Brothers Reunion at the Garden, Neil Youing also at Jones, Jon Anderson at Westbury, The Doobie Brothers at Irving Plaza and Darryl Hall and Glenn Tilbrook at the Capitol and then the Paramount.
Looking forward to booking shows in the year.

I would love to see any of those shows. I've been to The Sphere but saw the movie that was created for the venue. What an amazing venue. Seeing a concert there is definitely on my bucket list!
