Updating

I am getting so tired of updating my phone.

It seems as if, everyday, there are more updates for Apps on my phone. If I go a few days without updating my phone, the amount of updates grow exponentially.

While looking at my phone my grown children have reprimanded me for not updating sooner. They also reprimand me f having too many unread emails or unread text messages but that’s a blog for another day.

How often do you update your phone?

I only update when my phone when it's needed, which is not that often. But I am on Samsung Android, so maybe there are fewer of them.

I'm on an iPhone as well. I let the apps update automatically so I don't have to deal with those. Haven't had any problem doing that. For the system updates which also seem to be more frequent, I find they are often security updates and worth doing. I like to put the update version into a google search and ask "should I update" and check that it is safe to update especially when they are going up to a new release (such as from 17.6.1 to 17.7 or from 17.7 to 18.0).
