It always feels a little surreal to be writing my last blog for the year.  For some reason, this year seems a little extra surreal.

In my world, 2023 has seen so much change and many happy occasions with lots to celebrate.  I look back and smile.

We just finished our first year at a new firm.  Talk about change!  But, with a wonderful, exciting and absolutely nerve wracking twist.   My family added a new puppy, Walter, who I am happy to say will be spending this week getting to know his New York relatives, and his cousin Hudson, at my house. My children are soaring – you know that phrase, you teach your children to fly.  For this moment, they are both in the air with wide wing spans. My husband keeps me laughing – and I think that might even be getting easier as the years go on.

And then there is Gotham. I am so proud of what we have all accomplished this year.  When I think of family I think of Gotham too.  The good connecting and giving that you see all around our network is heartwarming.  The “difference” that I treasure at Gotham is that we are people first, helping people.  All the good business comes right along but the humanity is present in every transaction.  It is this model that continues to sustain us from year to year.

I am very excited about 2024.  Wishing you all the most joyous holiday season and a wonderful new year!  See you in 2024!
