All around us

For better or worse, AI is now part of our daily life, transforming the way we live, work, and interact. It's not just a futuristic concept from Star Trek anymore; AI is here to stay.

Smart assistants like Alexa and Google Home, powered by AI, are essentially revolutionizing home automation. They control our lights, play our favorite music, and even manage our shopping lists with simple voice commands. I wonder how many Gothamites have one and how often they use it...

There are now real-time language translation apps which allow us to seamlessly talk to people from different parts of the world. For example there's:

• Google Translate

• Microsoft Translator

• iTranslate

• SayHi

• TextGrabber (you point your camera at a foreign language menu or sign and you instantly read the translation)

It's a whole new world in many ways and we are only at the cusp...strap in, it's going to be a wild ride.
