Red flags

Yesterday morning I taught a workshop on AI and using it for your business. The reason why I am writing about it here is I added so many caveats to the presentation I questioned whether it was worth it.

I talked about validating every point AI provides,  that information inputted is shared with the world, and that the dangers of AI are very real, especially with next year being an election year.

There's a great Ted talk about this topic by a couple of smart guys. It's called the A.I. Dilemma and you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/xoVJKj8lcNQ

The promise of AI is through the roof but there are a lot of red flags.

AI is risky business but it’s also the future! If businesses are mindful of the risk, they should be able to use it and navigate it safely.

Last year an attorney depended on AI to write a brief in Federal Court. Needless to say many of the case citations were fictional. I believe they lost their licenses. I don't know how one would rely on that technology to, essentially, do your work for you and not check the citations.
