Coming Attractions
We have started going back to the movies, but following our last, most recent, visit I'm not quite sure...
We arrived in time for the scheduled start of our chosen flick, unaware that the next 15 minutes are devoted to Coming Attractions and other less biting commercials.
I say "less biting" because the Coming Attractions took a shocking bite out of us and made us feel old (as in old fashioned) to boot.
To say that the Coming Attractions we were subjected to were salty is an understatement.
To call it what it is, they were low brow and profanity laced. Never before have I heard the F Word used so often and in so many uncreative incarnations.
Once again, as Dylan prophesied, The Times They Are A-Changin'!
And, obviously (and thankfully), I'm not keeping up :(

Surely, Lenny Bruce would not be shocking nowadays. And, how did you like Mission Impossible?
