Self-reflection

I do it a lot and wonder if you do too. From golf swings, to clients, to important personal relationships I often reflect on them and find myself grateful. But sometimes I figuratively beat myself up. I’m probably my own toughest critic.

Self-reflection can take many forms, including journaling, meditation, and introspection. I don't journal but I know someone who does...every day (you do too:). I sometimes meditate but not while driving. Mostly I am quite introspective.

Through self-reflection, you can gain greater self-awareness and develop a deeper understanding of your values, beliefs, and motivations. The important thing is to make time for regular reflection and to be honest and open with yourself as you explore your thoughts and feelings.

Know your (thy) self. Self reflection - an ingredient, I believe, to success .. no matter how you find/define success.

With respect to beating yourself up, I learned in Weight Watchers that we often speak to ourselves much more harshly than we would allow anyone else to. It's ok to criticize yourself. But do it in the same way you would speak to a friend. Life changing!
