Coming to a Theatre Near You

Categories

We have not been in a movie theater since before the pandemic. We have a wide screen television and theater chairs in our home and that has happily served as our theater for the past three years. In fact, we refer to the room as our theater. We even have a group of friends come over the first Saturday of the month for dinner and a movie.

Last week we put a movie on in our theater ("Tetris"-which was excellent) and something came on that I have not seen in three years, a trailer for another movie. My husband immediately picked up the remote to skip past it and I asked him to stop so I could watch the trailer.

I had forgotten how much I used to enjoy watching the trailers before the movie. To me, they were always promises of something good to come. My husband always felt the opposite. He was never a fan of the trailers and would sit through them anxiously awaiting the main event.

Are you a trailer fan?

Not a fan of trailers
AXS TV shows “Nothing But Trailers” on a regular basis.
Daniel Schwartz

Not a fan of trailers as they tend to give too much of the movie away in my opinion.

Love the trailers. Going to the movies was always such a special treat as a kid, and had a date night, feel our whole lives. Haven’t gone as often, but sort of sad about it. Like the end of an era.

We keep talking about going to a movie theater but so far, it hasn't happened.
