Where Do You Read?

I remember getting all dirty with newsprint.  I kept wipes in my bag so that when the train pulled into Penn Station I could clean away all evidence of newspaper.

These days instead, I browse.  I read parts of the NY Times in the app on my phone.  For a period of time, I did the same with Newsday.  I read the NY Times Cooking section.

And then off I go surfing all sorts of news sites. Some I dismiss immediately as lacking credibility.  Others have already gained their credibility traction with me and so I spend a little more time.

But I am always taken with the vast access we have now to news and commentary about news.  Likely, for better or worse, but I overall I think better.

Where do you find your news outlet of choice these days?

On line. But I trust few of the major outlets anymore. I do fall asleep to my local cable news station (Spectrum 13 down south) each night with the timer timer on...

Sunday NYC "Vows" and "Metropolitan" sections are all I need form the newspaper. And I do cruise through 1441 in the morning for headlines. Anything of importance manages to find its way to me from humans in the know.
