This was written on Sunday - a few hours before the Super Bowl….

The Super Bowl starts in a few hours and I’ll be watching. I played in the office pool and have two boxes. I haven’t checked the numbers on the boxes and I’m debating whether to check before the game.
On the one hand, I want to watch the football game. On the other hand, it is fun to be conscious of the score from the pool perspective.

All things considered.....I think I’d rather watch the game for the football without the distraction.

I was in several pools, wife's office and several charitable ones both here in FL and up in NY. Since i had no real vested interest in either team this year, I was more focused on the numbers. My wife had the winning combination for the 1st quarter (7-7) and for the first time in her life, won a box. She was so excited, it was worth watching her cheer in front of the TV. It made for a fun evening.
