Politics and Theatre

We have shied away from politics in our blogs, but I can’t resist…. and, I prefer to think of this as theatre.
First, after the discovery of classified documents at former Vice President Pence’s home, I feel compelled to go down to my basement and see what I may have.
Second, I live in the now infamous Third Congressional District of New York and am represented by George Santos. Beyond the embarrassment, it is hard to express my feelings (although sweaters are no longer my preferred article of clothing).
We are, indeed, in the theatre of the absurd.

Pointing out the absurd, ridiculous and frustrating examples the world in which we live seems to be outside of the rule about talking politics. It's when some get into partisanship and discrediting another's point of view that problems arise. I would add that another similarity to theater is the high cost paid by the audience.

Hoodies here (I suspect most in Gotham know that.). Not sure if I can ever again choose a sweater, especially a sleeveless one! I was polled by Sienna College Wednesday on the "rep." Ben and I share; a Newsday reporter called to followup; interesting chat.
