What was the very best Holiday present you received last year?

No question, mine was from granddaughter Maggie Klein.  It was Storyworth.  To learn more visit www.storyworth.com.

The concept is that every Monday I receive a question, eg, What was your first job?

I answer the question and add an appropriate picture and it goes on and on weekly until year end when I receive a bound volume of my historical (story worth telling) recollections.

Pretty great, in my opinion!

Thank you Maggie!

Maggie Rocks. Brilliant Idea - perfect for you.

My siblings and I got my dad a storyworth subscription last year. It's been amazing. He has so many stories to tell, he extended it another year so he could keep the stories coming. When he's done, the whole family is going to have an incredible memoir, and heirloom.

My favorite present was very similar. My son Derek gave me a bound picture book with memories from Buffalo Bills games and other Bills related family, friends and pet pictures. He captioned each picture with a saying or anecdote. On the cover, it says “Your Mafia“. There’s even a picture of you in it Fred!

So nice. On top of your journal, you will have great stories!!!

Great idea! Several years ago my granddaughter, Ruby, wrote my bio for a school project; of course I got a copy.. The interviews were an incredible bonding experience and I remembered things long "forgotten." As for gifts, the best one I got was a renewal on my lease here on there planet.

Yes, a great gift and a brilliant idea. Best gift? Putting my feet on the floor every morning surrounded by love. And coffee.

What an ideal gift for you!

A lot of the comments already made gave me "goose bumps." Such clever ideas, such brilliant people.

Thanks for the memories. Our daughter gave my wife and I a photo album she put together that spanned years before children (BC) up to about a dozen yrs ago. A keep sake for her and our son after we are gone. I found it after reading Fred's post. Time for updating it.
