When you think about it, it’s really astonishing. In early civilization your labors were directly connected to your survival. You worked all day to live. Today, the production of food and goods we consume is antiseptic to our daily lives.

We’ve lived through a pandemic where millions died and we survived by going online. From food to toilet paper to cars. Everything available at the touch of a screen or click of a mouse and delivered right to our front door.

Unfortunately Fred is right, but I prefer the old days more touchy feely.

How did you get a photo of my front door? :) It is amazing how we have pivoted and how things have permanently changed for the workplace.

Not having to go shopping saves time for me to do other more productive things. It also employs people who want to work. So I don't see that this is such a bad thing. Life is about change - some is good and some not so good. I'm glad to still be here to deal with both and to keep the delivery guys busy.
