I read an article the other day about that posed the following question – what is your favorite room in your home?

I thought about that question for days but really couldn’t decide.  I did narrow it down though to a three way tie.

I love my kitchen.   It is one of those spaces where I picked everything out when it was new (enough years ago) and when I have the chance to cook, the room sings to me.

I love my family room.  Honestly, if you come to visit it is really nothing special from the outside.  The couch is worn as is the carpet, the door on the television stand is broken. But, there is just nothing like watching a movie or binging a Netflix series sunken into a comfy couch watching a screen large enough to feel like you’re at a movie theater.

Last, but not least, my backyard is my happy place.  As soon as the weather turns warm, I shift outside.  Talk about a happy place – that is my deck.
