The Emmy Awards last night featured an intense battle for best drama series.  

“Better Call Saul”, “Euphoria”, “Ozark”, “Severance”, “Squid Game”, “Stranger Things” and “Yellow Jackets” made for a killer category of shows.  Due to Covid, “Succession” was not in the running last year and “The Crown” reigned.

Succession wins over audiences and critics because it touches so many genres.  Some consider it a family drama or a satire.  Others see it as a comedy drama or black comedy.  The writing, the scenery, the music, and above all the acting make it a great show.  I am looking forward to the final season and will definitely miss the show on Sunday nights.
