Is it really conquering fear that is brave? I believe we (humans) all have fear as we should. Fear has helped us, as a race, survive through the years. So being afraid is important. However, if fear drives you, or prevents you from living life then let's be brave.

In my humble opinion, people are in a lot of fear and trying to cope with it. Some not having much success. I recently experienced, in a Starbucks, a man who got upset and starting yelling at the top of his lungs because they ran out of almond milk. This reminds of what a great character said:

"Fear is the path to the Dark Side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering."
--Yoda

Let's not suffer....if there's no almond milk....get the soy.

Fear can be the driving force to success. Forget the creame and drink it black, it's not scary at all and a lot heather than soy or oat milk for that matter.

There is nothing to fear, but fear itself!

I'd say being afraid of dudes like that is not only warranted but necessary for our survival.

Good point Mitch. While fear is not a choice, its resultant suffering is a choice. Perhaps the worst part about suffering is that it puts your power in someone else's hands. Lack of almond milk is painful if the happiness your drink gives you depends on it containing almond milk, but if you're determined to be grateful for - and thus enjoy - that drink either way, by finding enjoyment in imperfection, you control your own happiness. Then even if almond milk might make you happier, its lack does not descend you to unhappiness, much less to the anger that can inspire such hateful actions as you witnessed. Fear cannot (and - I agree with you - should not) be conquered, while hate can be, but casualties may result. However, reducing your own suffering? Priceless!
