What Are You Binging?

My blog this week is simple, my husband and I need suggestions for some binge worthy shows that we can watch together. We both enjoy science fiction and have been through most of the science fiction series on Paramount and Disney. The only current science fiction series we have not watched so far is Severance on Appletv. Has anyone watched it? I noticed it received a lot of Emmy nominations.

Other than science fiction we like a good drama or comedy. We loved, i.e. Schitt’s Creek, Mrs. Maisel, Ozark, and Fauda. We are looking forward to the new Games of Thrones series but that, I believe, will be one episode a week.

We are essentially looking for a new series that will capture our attention so that we will want to keep watching from the first episode to the last.  What do you suggest?

Shelley Simpson

I'd go with Fred's suggestion since the only the only two things I have actually watched on TV over the past year or so are Jeopardy and an occasional baseball game, both because they were on in front of me. I did watch Mrs. Maisel when it first came out and loved it.
Paul Napolitano

If you like good, plot driven, science-fiction, you should try Firefly. Cult classic. Its a little dated, but not much. Good acton, great plot lines. Irreverent. Original. Space western. Only one season was done, but fans of the show have been screaming for more ever since. If you were a fan of Big Bang Theory, they were always joking about the show, and had Josh Wheadon as a guest character often.
Victoria Drogin

We also really loved The Wire, Mad Men, The Amerikans, Succession and Billions.
Daniel Schwartz

I am enjoying Dark Winds on AMC +. Season 2 is coming soon. Robert Redford executive producer. Based on the Leaphorn and Chee novel series. I got hooked after the 1st episode.
Nancy Schess

Ted Lasso or The Kazkinsky Method. Very different, but both great.
