If you read last week’s blog, you know I posted from Philly. We stayed in the historic part and just a few blocks from our hotel, we could walk to the Museum of the American Revolution. It included a special exhibit of paintings by Don Troiano recreating revolutionary era events; those painting supplemented actual artifacts, munitions, arms, gear, from various battles and related events. It even included General Washington’s tent.

We capped Sunday off with a (non-Gotham) Happy Hour at “The Olde Bar” and Dinner at Talula’s Garden, which Shelly and Marisa enjoyed on their first Philly visit. On the Monday drive back with Marisa behind the wheel, I did a briefing via Zoom.

Interestingly, I “enjoyed” two opportunities to suit up last week. Despite Friday’s blogger in Bermuda shorts, I donned a suit for the Gotham Quad Cocktail Party and the night before for a special civic meet and greet.  And we have Gotham biggest outing coming up on Tuesday eve.

The food at Talula's looks outstanding.
And how nice for you to have a "WheelWoman".
