Comfortably Lazy

Categories
Lifestyle

It seems to me that we are becoming comfortably lazy.  An example of which is that many now insist on working from home or prefer Zoom rather than in person meetings.

Say what you like, but question yourself.  Have I become comfortably lazy?

Once you admit the truth, your opinion as to the impact of the Pandemic upon our way of life might change just a bit.

The world is forever changed. The reverberations from COVID will continue ad infinity. There will be good and bad that come out of it.

Personally, I am not lazy, I prefer not to have to travel for things that can be done via zoom. Covid is still here.

I am more discerning and way more productive. Zoom is great and I find more people willing to get on a phone call.So I am speaking with 3 times as many people in a week as I cold if I had to go out. Also, I can do more group conversations because of Zoom. When it comes to meeting in person I meet with people who I want to be with or when it is business that can only be done in person which is rare.

I moved to Florida partially because I could do my work remotely, but did not know for sure until I did. Call me comfortable, but not lazy.

Agreed! Or not…
Awareness that we have the potential for inertia is a great motivator to get out the door and move!

Video conferencing has changed the way we do business, it’s nice to have options!

Staying in touch is easier but nothing like face to face interacting!

I've questioned the existence of lazy; instead referring to values and priorities. If I don't do my homework is it laziness or is there something more important to me. Homework is important, so if I'm not doing it, what and why else is something more important. All that being said... there is a great value in face-to-face, eye-to-eye and a good handshake that is not possible via zoom. As Judy said above, "The world is forever changed."

So you’re telling me I wasn’t lazy when I shirked my studies m?
