Keeping in Touch

About once a week I receive a copy of the Vineyard Gazette in the mail. It’s the local newspaper from Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts.
We’ve been visiting the Vineyard for years and, for the limited time we spend there, we consider it one of our homes away from home. We always read the Gazette when we are on the Vineyard. Many years ago I felt it would be nice to keep in touch with what’s going on even when we’re not there.
Keeping in touch with our home away from home even when we’re home just feels right.

I understand this Ben. As our lives have expanded we have close “communities” in a number of places. Our community in Saratoga, friends we spend time with around the country, my sister in Connecticut, our kids in VA and Kentucky… not only local news, but different group chats with different people close to us, keep us feeling connected. Martha’s Vineyard is beautiful. Hope you get back to enjoy it soon!

I am on a couple of Facebook Groups from Detroit and keep up that way. It is interesting to hear about the things happening there - not interesting enough to lure me back.
