Baseball opened for real last week and my team remains undefeated after its first three games.

A feat not achieved in an entire decade.

That year, my team only won another 71 games.

Hopefully things will prove markedly different this year.

After all, ownership has a clue AND resources.

Over the first three games, I watched a series of lineups with no real holes.

The team -- the Mets -- next play before they return home also remains undefeated; it makes it interesting what record my team will sport before the home opener.

Friday’s blogger favorite team also remains without a loss so New York City starts this day undefeated in baseball.
