Saturday’s Gotham blogger and websmaster last week inspired this commentary.

Quite simple it involves 85 tunes. Across 1/4 of a day!

Last weekend I created a songlist. Earlier today I posted it to my website. I compiled songs with the word, “time” in the title (The plural “times” applies not here.).

Find versions in Apple Music and on YouTube.

Find Poco, Rolling Stones and The Byrds on the list four times; Rod Stewart three times (once with the Faces and two times solo); ditto Genesis, Chris Hillman, Tom Petty, and Neil Young; and Peter Frampton, Southside Johnny, Marshall Tucker Band, The Monkees, Stephen Stills, Led Zeppelin, Roger McGuinn, Grand Funk Railroad, Cream, Dan Fogelberg and Eagles twice.

Review the list and share your fave “time.”

I will certainly listen ... A few popped into my head that I know will be on the list. Too bad we cannot post photos here ...

Just read Mitch's post from last week as I was away. For some reason, Sundays do seem to fly by. . .

The Time Has Come by the Chambers Brothers always resonates with that late 60's vibe of change!
And I'm with Dan on the Stones-Time ---- Yes it is!

Loved the sound track for Time and Again. Don't recall if there were lyrics. Great that you did this. Will tune in one of these days.

Great list, Corey (even if Poco is overrepresented as always). The most glaring omission is Pink Floyd's epic tune 'Time", which reflects on that subject and opens side 2 of Dark Side of the Moon (back when albums had sides). Also missing are George Thorogood's rollicking cover of "In the Night Time" and Wings' "Time to Hide"
