Before the Stoned Age, in my college Freshman year I met Stuie and we became fast friends.  I mean Hardy Boys friends!  We had so many incredible adventures which are not appropriate to describe in a Family newspaper (despite the fact that the Statute of Limitations has expired) :)

We are original members of the Charter Syracuse University Bad Boys Club (pictured).

How bad?  How about carrying on with my sister behind my back!!!

Stuie became a Boston Power Broker attorney and, truth be told, the last time I saw him face to face was when I ran the 1983 Boston Marathon.

As the years rushed by, like the flittering pages of a movie calendar, we grew apart until a recent chance Facebook encounter.

Nothing is equal to a rekindled venerable (old shoe) friendship.  Stuie is now visiting us in Paradise :)

To be continued…

Facebook is an amazing platform when used for its original purpose. There is nothing like reconnecting with old friends. You were lucky to have had such a partner in crime :-)

Gr8 story Fred! FB connected me with my high school friend Timmy. He was in a Howard beach, Queens bagel shop and saw my business card and called me. Hadn't seen him for 25 years.

That’s awesome. I recently had an experience like that with a high school friend whom I haven’t seen in 30 years. We met for dinner at 5 o’clock and closed the restaurant at 11. It still didn’t feel like enough time. She lives in San Diego, but her parents are in our neighborhood. Love it.

Old friends coming back together and finding it again is terrific,

One is silver and the other gold”
Nothing like old friends to make us young again!
