It's Time To Go

Anyone who knows me knows I love to travel.  The last time I travelled outside of the US was in February 2020.  We had planned and taken a family trip to Italy.  We left evening the day after COVID-19 was detected in Italy

Since that time we have restricted our travels to the US.  But now we have decided to venture past the US.  We will be traveling to Aruba. I admit I'm a bit hesitant as I try to figure out all of the COVID-19 requirements.

Have you traveled outside of the US? What has been your experience?

Is GA still in the U.S.? I went there. Seriously, I would think that traveling to places like Aruba which exists for tourists is going to be easier in some ways than traveling around the States.

Going to Florida for New Years to be with family, but that's about it. Haven't planned anything else yet, waiting to see how all this plays out.

Only in the US, more because my Passport expired two years ago, not because of Covid...

We canceled a trip when the pandemic was declared and moved to our house in the country. We often fantasized about trips with the help of the internet that we realize we won't be able to take for a while. My husband has not seen his children or his 13 grandchildren either in all this time. He is planning a 30 December flight to Argentina where they live unless the travel rules change to either require quarantine upon arrival or the place shuts down. Fingers crossed.
