A Date to Remember

We have to remember many, many dates. Birthdays, anniversaries, and others. I sometimes test myself with the birthdays of our seven grandchildren.
There is a new date that must be stored in our memory bank: the date of your second Covid vaccination (or the single dose of Johnson). It’s the date that is needed, along with other information, to confirm and download the New York State Excelsior Pass - a convenient way to prove vaccination status.
Every once in a while, my Pass needs to be updated and the importance of that date - which is now secure in my memory - once again becomes apparent.
One day, perhaps, it will fade into oblivion. I hope so.

Yes, I was walking into a restaurant and the pass "disappeared" necessitating a quick update. I happened to have it in my calendar so I could do a search. Not I have it in the "notes" because I do not trust my memory. And with the booster date to add, I am not sure I want to waste the space in my memory bank.

I am so lucky. By chance, mine was on 14 February, Valentine's Day, so how can I forget it?
